1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of renterfriend.com.au (the "Site") operated by RenterFriend ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, or by placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order on the Site.

3. Products and pricing

All prices on the Site are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless stated otherwise. We make reasonable efforts to display accurate pricing and product information, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing or listing error on an order you have placed, we will contact you before proceeding and you may choose to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

4. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order on the Site is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. We may cancel or refuse any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of stock, in which case we will provide a full refund for that order.

5. Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering, processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.

6. Shipping and delivery

Many of our products are shipped directly from suppliers, including overseas warehouses. Delivery timeframes shown on the Site are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to customs processing, courier delays, or circumstances outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to RenterFriend and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party website.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
